TORRINGTON : A former top Torrington High School basketball player was among five people arrested on breach of peace and assault charges for an alleged incident last month.
A walk-in complaint was made at the Torrington Police Department of an alleged assault in the Torrington Plaza at 11:17 p.m. on Aug. 8, police said. The report led to an arrest of five individuals, including Jordan Williams, 18, 293 County Road.

Sanfransisco, 21 Sept: A gang-related fistfight at a Mission District pizzeria erupted into gunfire Sunday afternoon, leaving two men dead of multiple gunshot wounds and a third man injured, authorities said.Police arrested two suspects shortly after the 4 p.m. shootings at Papa Potrero’s Pizza at 24th Street and Potrero Avenue, San Francisco police Sgt. Wilfred Williams said.
He said he did not know how many people were inside the restaurant at the time of the shooting.
