Found to be in possession of 2,000 tablets and attempting to sell them to a DEA witness in Boston the star now faces charges from the Drug Enforcement Agency.

Hu Weidong, a 49-year-old from central China’s Henan Province, had coerced Beijing twins, Qin Qing and Qin Yun, known as “Baobao and Azi,” to have sex with him, his assistants and wealthy clients before the twins legally became adults at age 18, according to the Haidian District People’s Court.

Geneva, Oct 23 2009: Roman Polanski’s lawyers said today that they would fight his extradition after the US formally submitted its request to have the Oscar-winning film director returned to Los Angeles to face the child sex charge he fled in 1978.

The Swiss authorities said that they had received the formal papers, almost a month after Polanski was arrested at Zurich airport as he arrived in the country to accept a lifetime achievement award for films such as Rosemary’s Baby, Chinatown and The Pianist.

Chicage, 21 October 2009: A former chief of staff and longtime friend of ousted Gov. Rod Blagojevich pleaded guilty to wire fraud Tuesday and promised to cooperate with federal prosecutors in their corruption case against the former governor.

Alonzo “Lon” Monk, 51, said that as Blagojevich’s top aide he had witnessed efforts to shake down roadbuilders, a hospital executive and a racetrack owner for hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions for the governor.

Sidney, 14 October 2009: A “bright young star” who was NSW Young Australian of the Year has been awarded almost $19,000 in damages for being unlawfully arrested in a cocaine case.

Iktimal Hage-Ali, who admitted using the drug, sued the state of NSW claiming she was wrongfully arrested and detained in Sydney in 2006 on suspicion of supplying cocaine.
