JACKSONVILLE, Fla., 12 November 2009: A hearing for former Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Jimmy Smith has been postponed.
Smith was scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning on charges of possession of cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, but the hearing was pushed back for the seventh time.
Smith also faces a charge of driving with a suspended license.
Smith was arrested in April after a Florida Highway Patrol trooper stopped his car to check his window tint.
In July, Smith pleaded no contest to three misdemeanor charges and was placed on probation for a year, ordered to perform 50 hours of community service and pay more than $1,000 in fines and court fees.
